making food from anywhere, with anything


I’m a fourth year undergraduate student living in Boston and New Jersey.  Over the summer of 2009, I discovered my passion for all things food.  I love learning about food from other cultures, and am inspired by the variety of dishes out there.  I love cooking for myself, and for other people as well.  Food is more than just a hobby or an interest; I live to eat and make good food.

Everything but the baa?  I’ll eat anything and everything, no questions asked.  Except, however, lamb.  Everything but the baa.

    Hi Lauren,
    Just finished browsing through your recipes, and I’m so impressed. Not only are the recipes intriguing and beautifully photographed, but your descriptions are easy to read. I love the bit of humor tossed in here and there. Your grandma sent me your blog and I’m so happy she did. Your great Uncle Chuck says hi.
    Now I’ll have another source to search for different cuisines.

      When she told me she gave my blog link to you I freaked out! After all, you’re a chef and I’m…not. But I’m so glad you like what I’m doing! I’m always looking for new things to try, so if you have any suggestions, don’t hesitate to throw them my way!
